Bernardaud "A La Reine"
The Bernardaud "À La Reine" collection pays homage to the first prestigious service produced by the Royal Manufactory after attaining royal status in 1784. The original pieces are now housed in esteemed museums worldwide.
Each piece features the "Comte d’Artois" shape, distinguished by its elegant curves characteristic of 18th-century design. The floral decoration, typical of the Louis XVI era, showcases bouquets of honeysuckle, roses, tulips, carnations, and daisies, painted au naturel in vibrant hues. This studied spontaneity was originally intended to mask minor imperfections from wood firing.
Crafted from fine Limoges porcelain, the "À La Reine" collection offers a comprehensive array of tableware, including dinner plates, salad plates, bread and butter plates, soup bowls, teacups with saucers, and serving platters. This extensive selection allows for a cohesive and versatile dining presentation.
