Bernardaud "Louis Xv"
The Bernardaud "Louis XV" collection is a faithful reproduction of the porcelain service delivered to King Louis XV in 1757 by the Royal Sèvres Manufactory for the Château de Fontainebleau, his favored residence. These pieces were integral to the King's daily dining experiences.
Each item in this collection features a delicate scalloped shape, adorned with a fine gold band and garlands of roses in a distinctive "cameoed carmine" hue—a rare and costly color in the 18th century. Gilded scrolls, characteristic of the Louis XV style, punctuate the design, enhancing the deep fuchsia tones. The center of each piece displays four fuchsia and gold monograms arranged in a star pattern, underscoring the service's regal origins.
Crafted from premium Limoges porcelain, renowned for its exceptional quality and translucency, the "Louis XV" collection is finished with a smooth, glossy glaze that enhances the intricate patterns, the collection offers a comprehensive array of tableware, including dinner plates, salad plates, bread and butter plates, soup bowls, teacups with saucers, and serving platters.
