Bernardaud "Marie-Antoinette"
The Bernardaud "Marie-Antoinette" collection draws inspiration from a porcelain service delivered to Queen Marie-Antoinette at the Palace of Versailles on January 2, 1782, by the Royal Sèvres Manufactory. The design reflects the Queen's affinity for simplicity and nature, featuring the "Comte d’Artois" shape adorned with a "pearl and cornflower" motif.
Crafted from fine Limoges porcelain, the collection showcases delicate cornflower garlands, a favorite of the Queen, as the flower's hue matched her eye color. These cornflowers are interspersed with realistic pearl designs, set against a soft green backdrop and highlighted by golden fillets. The center of each plate features a bouquet of freshly gathered wild cornflowers, exuding an air of delicate simplicity.
The "Marie-Antoinette" collection offers a comprehensive array of tableware, including dinner plates, salad plates, bread and butter plates, soup bowls, teacups with saucers, and serving platters.
