This underplate from the Golden Forest collection has a diameter of 28 cm and is made of porcelain. Designer Bodo Sperlein created the tree motif, applied by hand in 24-carat gold. The porcelain is manufactured in Germany. At a set table it serves as a decorative base beneath soup plates or dinner plates, and it is dishwasher-safe, though not suitable for the microwave.
