Jaune de Chrome "Iriomote"
The Jaune de Chrome "Iriomote" collection is an elegant and organic tableware series inspired by the untouched wilderness of Iriomote, a lush, subtropical island in Japan known for its dense jungles and pristine landscapes. Designed by the French luxury brand Jaune de Chrome, the collection captures the essence of natural beauty through fluid, asymmetrical forms that evoke the island’s flowing rivers and rugged terrain. The name "Iriomote" reflects the brand’s dedication to drawing inspiration from nature, resulting in pieces that are both artistic and functional.
The design of the Iriomote collection is characterized by its soft, undulating lines and irregular silhouettes, mimicking the organic shapes found in nature. The cutlery features gently curved handles, resembling smoothed pebbles or driftwood, while the tableware showcases subtle imperfections that enhance its handcrafted appeal. Each piece is designed to feel intuitive in the hand, blending ergonomic comfort with sculptural elegance. The collection’s aesthetic is both minimalist and expressive, making it a versatile choice for modern and rustic tables alike.
The accompanying tableware, including plates, bowls, and serving dishes, is often produced in fine porcelain or stoneware, with matte or gloss finishes that highlight the collection’s natural inspiration. Some pieces feature delicate textures or hand-applied glazes, further enhancing their artisanal charm.
The collection includes a variety of dining essentials, such as knives, forks, spoons, and serving utensils, as well as complementary tableware like shallow bowls, platters, and tea accessories. Each piece stands out as a unique work of art while maintaining harmony within the set. With its nature-inspired design and refined craftsmanship, the Iriomote collection by Jaune de Chrome brings an organic, serene elegance to any dining experience.
