This is the bottom part of the KPM "Kurland" teapot, finished in Multicolore with a fine platinum rim and grey ground colour (Fond GRAU). Each piece is hand-finished in fine porcelain by the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, a house with roots going back to 1763. The Kurland shape pairs classic, clean lines with the manufactory's exacting craftsmanship, making this base a fitting centrepiece for a formal table setting or a graceful addition to an existing Kurland service.
