The Mono Concave collection, designed by Franz Maurer in 2004, merges modern design with traditional craftsmanship. Originating from Germany, the collection emphasizes a sleek and reflective aesthetic, earning recognition for its innovation in lighting design. The name "Concave" refers to the bowl-like shape of the oil lamps, which creates a captivating play of light as the flame reflects off the inner curved surface.
Each lamp is made from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, offering a brushed matte finish that gives a subtle elegance to the piece. This material ensures durability and resistance to corrosion, making the lamps suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Inside, the oil lamp has a hollow space that can be filled with lamp oil, which sustains a steady flame for extended periods.
