Puiforcat "Bayonne"
The Puiforcat Bayonne collection, named after the city of Bayonne in the French Basque region, reflects the elegance and architectural style of Art Déco. Designed by Jean Puiforcat in 1924, the collection was inspired by the refined Art Déco architecture that was flourishing along the French Atlantic coast at the time. home in St. Jean de Luz, Puiforcat drew inspiration from the geometric precision and subtle ornamentation of these coastal resorts. The collection is renowned for its clean, straight lines and the three fine, sculptural grooves that resemble the tines of a fork. These details give the pieces a timeless yet modern look with neo-Basque accents. The Bayonne collection includes a wide range of cutlery, available in both solid sterling silver and silver-plated versions. The offerings include table and dessert cutlery, as well as specialized items like cheese knives, carving knives, and sauce spoons. The collection also features various serving utensils such as serving forks, rice spoons, ice tongs, cocktail knives and spoons, as well as cake and caviar knives. It combines Puiforcat's artisanal craftsmanship with a stylish, modern aesthetic.
