Puiforcat "Molière Mascaron"
The Puiforcat Molière Mascaron collection is named after the famous French playwright Molière and is inspired by the architectural masks that adorn its pieces. These decorative mascarons were common design elements in the art and architecture of the Régence period (1690 - 1730). The handles of the cutlery are intricately adorned with interwoven acanthus leaves and stylized ribbons. At the ends, you'll find the namesake mascarons: theatrical, relief-like mask motifs on knives and botanical mascarons on forks and spoons. The pieces in the Molière Mascaron collection by Puiforcat are crafted from sterling silver in France, with some pieces available with an optional fine gold coating.
